UCR or GIMC?
Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) and Georgia Intrastate Motor Carrier (GIMC) filing these is our governments way of knowing how many CMVs are on our roads.

If you are registered as Interstate, traveling in other states you must file a UCR.
If you are registered as Intrastate, only traveling in your home state you must file a GIMC.

You are required to renew and update your filing annually by December 31st.

$5.00 per CMV if paid on time
$25.00 per CMV if paid after December 31st

Depending on the state, first-time offenders may pay anywhere from $100 to $5,000 in fines.
